Gene Davis is the Chief Deputy Coroner for Okanogan County, Washington, bringing over 28 years of experience in law enforcement and death investigation. Prior to joining the Coroner’s Office, Gene dedicated 25 years to the Okanogan County Sheriff’s Office, where he served with distinction in multiple roles.

During his tenure with the Sheriff's Office, Gene spent 15 years as a K9 officer and held the rank of Sergeant for 16 years. In his final four years, he served as a Detective Sergeant, leading complex investigations and honing the investigative skills that now support his medicolegal death investigation work.

Gene is known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to serving the community with integrity and compassion in both law enforcement and forensic roles. He continues to apply his extensive experience to ensure thorough and accurate death investigations for the citizens of Okanogan County.
